Lakeside Partners
Entrepreneurs. Invested. Involved.

Lakeside Partners is made up of a group of experienced entrepreneurs. With this background, we invest in early stage companies that have game-changing potential in their sector and their market.

Our unique investment approach enables the founders to focus on their core skills, allowing them to to react faster at the same time as developing their potential.

We can achieve this by maintaining a network of experts and investors, which allows us to support and complement the founding team. In order to bring their ideas to life, or to give them the push they need into the development phase, our portfolio entrepreneurs benefit from a network with extensive expertise, the members of which are excellently motivated and integrated by the investment-based nature of their commitment. Our investments are therefore shaped by a hands-on mentality, the core idea of this being identical to that of the founders: passionate entrepreneurship.

Successful relations in the long term are based on trust. Consequently, our investment horizon does not aim for the earliest possible success but rather for reaching the peak within a sector or a market.

Along with the digitization expert inacta AG, we started the Blockchain Competition. The company has been established for years in the field of digital transformation. One key focus of its work is the insurance sector, which is being exposed to new developments in the form Blockchain technology while at the same time sensing added business potential in new impulses.

Switzerland is one of the largest insurance markets in Europe and its multiculturalism doesn’t only present an ideal testing market for insurers. The fact that some of Blockchain’s driving organizations have their headquarters in Zug and that politics has acknowledged the location’s potential for the FinTech market reinforces our efforts to start up a vessel via the Blockchain Competition which would have the potential to discover, reward and support unique ideas in the long term.
